Situated in the heart of the Medoc region, between the terroirs of Moulis and Margaux, our estate is listed since 1876 among the very first wines of Avensan, certified organic since 2011. The Chateau Meyre Haut-Medoc is the result of subtle blending: 44% of Merlot, 40% of Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% of Petit Verdot and 5% of Cabernet Franc. With a ruby color, Château Meyre offers a beautiful aromatic complexity of berries, plums, tobacco and vegetal notes. On the palate, the supple, ripe texture reveals complex red and black fruits, with earth and spice notes followed by beautiful length. This is a lovely Haut-Medoc for current drinking or for 8 to 10 yeaars of cellaring.
