Chenin blanc with acidity is a perfect easy sipper. This wine is a great example of that. Golden apple with warm honey notes but a zingy citrus zest acid lift on the finish makes you crave another sip.
The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, and then aged on its lees in barrel for one year. Lees aging (and autolysis) adds texture and viscosity to the wine, takes a bit of time to integrate into this wine with the high acidity, but it’s drinking at its perfect moment now.
