Tech + Tasting Notes
The Dom Pérignon P2, short for Plenitude 2, replaces the Oenotheque in Moet & Chandon's DP line. The winemaking team decided to use "plenitude" to describe the three phases of evolution of the wine. The 1998 Dom Pérignon "P2" has entered its second phase of development. Released after an extended period on the lees- in the case of this vintage 13 years- the wine has aged to a layered and dynamic progression from floral, to silk, to a neverending finish of nut and smoke.
