Tech + Tasting Notes

Produced from 100% old vine Grenache, with vines mostly over 100 years old. The 2012 Chateauneuf du Papa Les Grenaches de Pierre is a sensational wine. Notes of game, pepper, red licorice, blackberry paste, sage, tobacco and crush stone-like minerality. Full bodied, powerful and layered, yet also elegant and complex. The closes with gentle tannins and very long, with lively minerality and hint of spice.
