Italy’s white wines are as diverse as the country’s reds. With a trove of native varieties, there is an Italian white wine to fit every budget and every occasion. In fact, there are so many choices that shopping for an Italian white wine can be overwhelming. It doesn’t help matters that many of the white grapes have similar looking names. However, you don’t have to memorize an encyclopedia to find the perfect wine for dinner.
Straw yellow in color with slight golden highlights. On the nose it has great intensity and complexity. It is invitingly fragrant and fruit-driven with notes of alpine flowers and a pleasant hint of almond. In the mouth it is fresh and well balanced with a nice backbone and a long aromatic finish.

It is fresh, linear and furnished with great sophistication and elegance with delicate hints of white balsamic flowers, traces of apricot and almond. Time enables it to evolve, allowing the mineral notes to be expressed with greater determination, thereby acquiring its complexity with traces of iodates, spices and candied fruit.
Greco di Tufo is an Italian white grape variety and DOCG region. The grape is most revered in the eponymous Greco di Tufo Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita(DOCG), one of four DOCG areas located in Campania. The Campania region boasts more DOCG zones than any other southern Italian region, and Greco di Tufo is considered one of the best white wine appellations of the region, alongside Fiano di Avellino DOCG.
The 2019 Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Bianco is a pale yellow color. The nose is floral and reminiscent of linden blooms. The palate is fresh and salty, with a mineral essence. Pair this wine with light pasta dishes, fish, and white meats.
This is a family owned estate with 28 ha of vines in the Dolegna district of Collio. Established in 1930 when Daniele Venica purchased Ronco del Cero. Today the winery is one of Friuli's most well known and respected estates.
