This wine offers aromas of lemon, minerality, orange zest and honey dew. The Palate has good acidity but with richness to provide a seamless palate and clean finish without being shrill. |

This Chardonnay is everything you want from the Russian River Valley. Fruit driven with a rich mouthfeel and a long zesty finish. Notes of stone fruit, lemon cream, and sweet spice ooze from the wineโs savory palate. West County is a partnership between Dutton-Goldfield Winery and sommelier Jeff Porter.ย |

Pretty aromas of citrus flowers and fruit. Notes of limes, lemons and toasty notes from oak. On the palate it will have good structure and plenty of restraint and balance making it a very food-friendly and approachable wine. |

The 2017 Chardonnay was aged a year in 20% new French oak barrels and an additional six months in stainless steel. It opens to aromas of toast and baklavaโpistachio, honey and pastryโwith notes of oats, Golden Delicious apple and baked quince. The palate is medium-bodied, rounded and savory, lifted by citrusy accents and tangy acidity, finishing long, savory and textured |

Coming from special vineyard sites, our Chardonnays show great depth of flavor, length of finish, aromatic complexity, and a fine balance between richness and delicacy. Typically, the climate is cool and the soil vigor low, producing graceful yet vibrant wines. |

Sanford Winery's estate vineyards get the full benefit of these remarkable conditions:The Sanford & Benedict parcel is the area's oldest Pinot Noir vineyard. Its fruit produces the classically Burgundian Sanford Pinot Noir-Sanford & Benedict. Wonderfully aromatic, its flavors are plush yet structured, with lively acidity and ripe tannins. |

This Chardonnay opens to exuberant tropical aromatics of pineapple, green mango and ripe peach, with underlying notes of dried herbs and Madagascar vanilla. With this, it bears witness to a warm growing season that saw two significant heat events. While the grapes for this wine were picked earlier than usual in order to maintain acidity and freshness, the tropical aromatics are accentuated by the warmer temperatures of this vintage. While it is nimble on the attack, this wine quickly builds into a lush and fresh mid-palate, revisiting the tropical note from earlier, as well as adding citrus and lemon zest. A balanced acidity frames this impression perfectly and carries this wine into a long and complex finish that is both harmonious and vibrant. |

Pale sun-bleached straw color. Ripe apple and yellow plum fruit aromas, citrus blossom, and sweet baked dessert. Sensuous entry, showing appealing mountain fruit, elegance, balanced acidity, and a beautiful mineral aftertaste. |
|
Sonoma Coast Chardonnay features aromas of almond, sage, and green banana with a citrus blossom perfume. The palate has quite attractive texture - silky and round, yet lively - and finishes with razor acidity and salty/brine, wet stone, and lime oil flavors on a long finish. To me, this is our most complete, polished and delicious Sonoma Coast blend to date likely due to vine age and the moderate weather during the growing season and the post verasion period. |

Fifth-generation Napa natives, Maggy and I began our endeavor in the 1970s planting The Judge vineyard on the Kongsgaard family land near Napa. The inaugural Kongsgaard wines came in 1996. We now produce The Judge, Chardonnay, VioRous, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon in our underground winery โ a cave dug into the volcanic rock, high on the eastern rim of the Napa Valley where we have planted a spectacular mountain vineyard. We also direct the farming under long-term contracts on several perfect acres in the Napa Carneros and near the winery. These intensely farmed, shy-bearing vineyards and our traditional low-intervention winemaking produce powerful, graceful wines โ vivid expressions of vineyard and variety. Production is limited to what we, with our son Alex, can make with our own hands. |
