Germain's .25 hectares of vines in Poruzots are situated just under Narvaux in upper section ("Les Poruzots Dessus"). These vines were replanted in the 1980s.

On the palate, the Poruzots 1er Cru is usually marked by its creamy texture, with a full-bodied mouthfeel. The wine typically has notes of ripe white fruits, butter, and a flinty minerality, alongside a touch of almond and light oak spice.
