Burgess was established in 1972 by Tom Burgess, a retired Air Force pilot with a particular enthusiasm for Cabernet Sauvignon. However, the story of Burgess is the culmination of over 150 years of Napa Valley History.
A dense and concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas and flavors of confectionary blackberry and stewed cassis. The lush fruit is brought into balance by high tone herbal aromatics of mint, sage, and sweet tobacco. The distinctively thick-skinned Cabernet grapes provide a long velvety finish.
