At Chateau Grand Mayne vineyard management is extremely important and each plot of wines is regarded as a completely separate entity. During harvest grape bunches are picked by hand and each plot is vinified separately. Aging occurs in French oak barrels for 15 to 20 months after which, a perfectly balanced blend is created to bring out only the best characteristics of the wine and the vintage.
Rose petal and berry aromas follow through to a full body, with chewy tannins and a tobacco and berry aftertaste. Lacks some fruit in the center palate, but shows very good quality for the year.
