This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot sees 18 months in French oak. The result is a rounded, nicely plump wine replete with ripe red plum, cherry, menthol, coffee, damp herbs and clove. Smooth tannins and bright acidity meet a gentle seam of bitter cocoa, which hold all the fruit tones in place through the toasty finish.
