This is one of Portugal's most recognizable, more international wines. It's mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from vines planted in clay and chalk-based soils. This is a charming bottle for the lover of Bordeaux. It's aged in French oak for a year before bottling. This was first made in 1979 and has, over the decades, steadily improved and has plenty of aging potential in the cellar. This comes from the Setúbal peninsula located outside of the capital city of Lisbon.
