Pale but attractive color. There is a good weight of fruit to the nose. This is discreet up front but builds towards the back very nicely. There is just a little youthful bitterness at the back and good length.
The soil is terres blanches below and marl above. Always very discreet in youth but ages extremely well, according to Jean-Marc Blain. Pale color, tight nose, notably more acidity, a savory spicy touch from the oak, tightly wound, this will be very impressive. Some lively citrus notes too.
