The vineyard was pulled out in 2014 and replanted in 2016, so very young vines. First three years of production was declassified, so 2021 is the first as premier cru. Sandy soil, frosts and dries out easily for young vines. 1100 litres made from 12 ouvrées. Let me translate that into 22 hl/ha. Pale lemon and lime color. The bouquet seems a little stunted but the 2021 Fairendes fleshes out more on the palate, all white fruit, but not quite the length of a fine premier cru. Drink from 2025-2029
