Domaine Lucien Muzard & Fils is run by the dedicated duo of brothers Claude and Hervé Muzard, the ninth generation to manage this family domaine that traces its history back to 1645.
From a .75 hectares parcel in Meursault Les Meix Chavaux, bordering Auxey-Duresses. Three equl parts were planted in 2001, 1998, and 1935.
Given the location vineyards are cooler and thus allowed to ripen longer on the vine. As a result, it gives the wine good focus, minerality and tension. Otherwise, classic Meursault aromas of ripe apples and pears with a touch of honey and hazelnuts.
