Limozin sits just below the 1er Crus of Genevrières and Poruzots and is next to 1er Cru Charmes — vines were planted in the late 1930s.
The nose of the Limozin Meursault 2022 should be aromatic and expressive, with classic notes of ripe orchard fruits like apple and pear, along with citrus nuances like lemon or lime. There may be hints of white flowers, almond, and a touch of buttery richness from the oak aging. A subtle mineral aroma, perhaps with a note of wet stone or chalk, would be typical of the limestone soils of Meursault.
