Paitin is one of the oldest wineries in Barbaresco; they consider 1796 their founding but their roots in the area date back even further
They are known for their old vine parcel of Sori Paitin within the Serraboella cru – one of the more structured crus in Barbaresco, like Montestefano or Albeisani
They also produce an amazing value in their Langhe Nebbiolo Starda
They have been a classic, traditional producer of Barbaresco for over their 200+ year history aside form a short flirtation with shorter macerations for a few vintages in the 1990’s. The current vintages are superb examples of focused, elegant, traditional Barbaresco.
