Layered, elegant, vivid and mineral-driven, this full-bodied wine paints a distinct picture of one of Sonoma County’s oldest, most iconic chardonnay vineyards. Stone, kiwi and crisp apple notes fill the aromas, while light accents of butter and vanilla bean highlight the vibrant green apple and lime flavors. It expands on the palate and echoes for minutes in the finish.
Few wineries have the privilege of making a Rochioli Vineyard wine. Virtually all are turned down. Mutual respect and a legacy of quality built our families’ partnership.
The Rochioli family has grown grapes on their property since the late ‘50s. The vineyard is now farmed by the third generation. Our 2023 Rochioli blend is 74% Mid-40 block and 26% River block.
