Located just below the village of Montalcino, Casanuova delle Cerbaie sits on 15 hectares. Most of the property is planted to vineyards but in classic Tuscan fashion, there are hectares of olive trees and forests too.
The winery was founded in the late 1970s but its current identity is more modern. It was purchased by an American entrepreneur in 2008 who also happened to be a passionate wine lover and admirer of classic Brunello. With his vision and a strong local team in place, the wines are made in a very traditional style.
