Pali Wine Co. Huntington Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2018

Lompoc based Pali Wine Co., named for the Los Angeles suburb of Pacific Palisades, California, was founded in 2005 by Tim Perr and Scott Knight. Tim and Scott co-founded Perr & Knight, an insurance services firm, but it was Tim’s love of wine that sparked the creation of Pali Wines. Winemaker Aaron Walker oversees all aspects of the winery’s Lompoc production facility. Kenneth Juhasz, of Auteur Wines, is consulting winemaker.

The portfolio is divided into two categories. The cuvee program explores appellation blends from California and Oregon, and the wines are named after different Pacific Palisades neighborhoods. The vineyard designate line offers Pinot Noirs from top vineyards like Inman Olivet, Keefer Ranch, Thorn Ridge Ranch in the Russian River Valley, Shea and Momtazi in Oregon's Willamette Valley and Fiddlestix and Turner in the Santa Rita Hills.
