A wine of great elegance with a vivid and bright colour. When the wine is young, the aromas are reminiscent of violet and black currant. With age, the aromas take on notes of ripe or candied fruit, mushroom and mild spices. On the palate, a pleasant sensation of roundness and velvety texture. Long aftertaste, with touches of candied fruit and vanilla.
Located in Beaune, Arnaud Baillot has been making wine since obtaining his Master’s in Business in 2013 and purchasing his first vineyards in 2017. Arnaud and his wife Laure, the granddaughter of the founder of Hudelot-Noëllat, showcase their passion for Burgundy terroir with their beautiful range of village and crus wines.
In addition to the original vineyards in Côte de Beaune, Arnaud and Laure added new domaine holdings in 2022, now totaling 7.5 hectares. Always farming organically with a focus in diversification, the vineyards span Hautes-Côtes, Meursault, Pommard, and Volnay. Beyond the Côte de Beaune vineyards, Arnaud is crafting terroir-driven négoce bottlings from Chassagne-Montrachet, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, and Vosne-Romanée.
