Located just a few kilometers from the famed town of Sancerre along the Loire river, "Coteaux du Giennois" literally translates as "slopes of the Gien" region.The soil type is similar to Sancerre-- clay/limestone with silica from the tertiary/kimmeridgian era. Beautifully crafted, elegantly balanced Sauvignon Blanc. Though it presents itself on a light, delicate frame, the wine is packed with flavors of juicy green melon and cleansing minerals.
