Castelsina represents a wine culture that is innovative and at the same time respectful of the tradition of the Tuscan land. The vineyards cover a total area of more than 400 hectares in the provinces of Siena, Florence and a part of Grosseto.
Thanks to the large surface of the territory and to the various climatic conditions, Castelsina has different kind of grapes. The cultivated varieties are mainly those typical of Tuscany as Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia, Vermentino and Trebbiano, with a presence of international grapes as Merlot, Cabernet and Chardonnay.
Partners of Castelsina, where Cantina Senesi Aretini is the leader, select with maximum care and devotion the grapes and introduce in the market products with very good balance quality/price.
