At 30 years old after aging in an oak barrel, this vintage Armagnac is transferred into another barrel that previously held the finest sweet wine of Bordeaux region for additional extended aging. While not stated by the producer, it is speculated that these barrels are former Château d'Yquem Sauternes casks.
A very complex palate, silky and melted. Similar to that of an old vintage of very elegant Sauternes with delicate hints of freshness. A light golden color with a bouquet of candied fruits that gives way to citrus aromas and chamomile. In the mouth, the fruit leads to floral fragrances and spicy notes with a long finish.
