The Caille family has been growing wine grapes for 5 generations. Vincent Caille is part of a new generation of winegrowers that pursues uncompromising quality. Using organic methods (which is difficult in a martime ocean climate), he passionately produces Muscadet Sevre et Maine of high expression. The Monnieres St. Fiacre is a racy yet rich representation of a Loire classic. This Muscadet shows off limey/citrusy notes followed by a subtle stoniness and minerality. The classic pairing is oysters but feel free to pair with anything briney and ocean born.
