The 2018 Beaune Clos de la Mousse 1er Cru comes from Bouchard's 3-hectare, clayey monopole that apparently never suffers drought. It has a high-toned bouquet of blueberry and cassis aromas, forward and generous if not incredibly complex. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and quite voluminous in the mouth. The saline, hoisin-tinged finish just requires a little more delineation. VINOUS
Bouquet with fruit aromas mixed with light toasted notes. Fleshy and delicate at the same time, the Clos de la Mousse reveals itself with refinement.
