From the outset, the estate has always treated its vines and nature with the utmost respect, to produce terroir-driven wines from one generation to the next. The grapes are hand-picked at optimum ripeness, and are transported in small back baskets. The fruit is then transferred to the winery to undergo a traditional vinification process. After being run off for three to four hours in a pneumatic press, the white grapes ferment naturally thanks to native yeasts. The cuvée is aged in casks for 12 months, followed by around four months in stainless steel vats before bottling.
The straw-yellow colour reveals an intense, complex and expressive nose, revealing aromas of pear and peach mingling with subtle notes of green apple. On the palate, the suppleness and elegance of the fruity aromas impart energy and remarkable length. This 100% Chardonnay will reach its full potential with a few years in the cellar.
