Domaine Huber-Verdereau was founded by Thiebault Huber in 1994, but originates in the 19th century with several generations of the Verdereau family in Volnay, including Thiebault’s grandfather Raoul Verdereau. The Domaine encompasses 9.5 hectares, with holdings in Volnay, Pommard, and Meursault. Since 2005, Thiebault has converted all holdings to organic and biodynamic farming, and is Demeter-certified. Volnay 1er Cru Le Clos des Chenes - 66 year-old vines in the most desirable part of the slope. Double sorted both in the vineyard and on the table. 100% de-stemmed. A full-bodied and spicy structured wine.
