Rheingau, Germany. Biodynamic. 100% Riesling. "With 10% to 15% botrytis, the 2018 Oestrich Lenchen Riesling Spätlese is beautifully intense yet clear, pure and flinty on the exotic nose. Lush and generous on the palate, with a stimulating piquancy and generous sweetness but also body and good phenolic grip, this is an excellent Spätlese that already drinks very well, but it should be kept for a decade to get the best out of it. Straight, fresh and classic style with grip and tension. Bottled with 9% alcohol and 72 grams of residual sugar.
