The name translates to “Instead of Flowers.” It is a rosato made from 90% Nebbiolo and 10% Vespolina and Croatina.
The bouquet is dominated by floral notes. Fruits like watermelon, wild strawberry, and lychee are also present. There is an overarching minerality to the nose. The flavors mimic the floral bouquet with just a hint of spice on the tongue. Al Posto dei Fiori is refreshing and dry rosé that is excellent with food such as salmon, shrimp, roast chicken and pasta.
