The Moraitis Estate is located on the island of Paros in the center of the Cyclades. The winery is on it’s fourth generation, and run by two brothers, Theodore (Theo) and Savvas Moraitis. Theo studied oenology/chemistry and Savvas has a business degree, which together make a young, passionate and strong team. They cultivate distinctive and indigenous island varieties like the Monemvassia and Mandilaria, using traditional methods of vine growing and cultivation. By combining modern winemaking techniques with generational practices, they reveal the distinctive characteristics of the coastal Paros terroir for the world to taste. The Moraitis winery is a certified organic winery and has brought this sometimes overlooked PDO region to the spotlight for all to enjoy.
