Robert Eden, after having worked in many vineyards of the world, bought in 1997 the Château Maris in Minervois. This forward-thinking winegrower, a strong advocate of organic farming and biodynamics, has built a cellar made of hemp bricks, equipping it with ovoid vats where the wine matures slowly.
Grape varietals: Syrah 70% - Grenache Noir 30%
This wine offers notes of black fruits, blackcurrant. Inky purple in the glass. La Touge has a full- bodied expression, a beautifully integrated acidity, ripe supple tannins. It is sweet with juicy tannins. Southern Rhone expression.
