Ryujin Shuzo is an artisanal saké brewery located in Gunma prefecture (founded in 1597), just north of Tokyo. With only five employees, they are an example of a brewery that still produces high quality saké using many traditional methods. This is a very dry junmai (made using Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku rice) with a clean finish, and is a great pairing for a wide variety of foods, whether it is with raw seafood or fried foods. This is a saké with great value- high quality for an affordable price.
