While we often instinctively reach for the blanco among agave spirits to more purely evaluate the raw production and terroir, there are some particularly joyful exceptions. This lightly aged Reposado from Atanasio is a bit of magic—a sleight of hand that marries tropical fruit and baking spice as effectively as any tiki cocktail and manages to taste of both oak and terroir harmoniously, leaving us at once pleasantly satisfied and merrily wanting more. Very highly recommended.
