This white wine is produced in the Auxey-duresses region, specifically from the Les Clous vineyard. The vineyard is situated near the hamlet of Petit-Auxey, along the Clous stream, and covers just over 5 hectares. The soil is composed of scree (rocky debris), which contributes to the wine’s unique character.
The wine offers an elegant bouquet of flowers, complemented by intense spices and subtle wood notes. It’s a harmonious blend of floral delicacy and aromatic richness.
The wine has a lively initial attack, leading to a fresh, ample, and substantial mouthfeel. It is well-balanced with a fine acidity. While enjoyable now, it has aging potential for even greater complexity.
