Joan-Ramon Escoda spent years working in a large cellar in Catalunya and traveling the vineyards of France. His experiences helped guide him to the biodynamic farming and natural wine movements. The vineyard is located in Conca de Barberá is a small DO in Catalunya. Grapes are sourced from several parcels of 12 to 30 year-old vines, grown on limestone and clay soils. Grapes are fermented together in barrel and aged in stainless steel. No SO2 added.
Light/medium-bodied. Plums and Mediterranean herbs on the nose, with red fruit on the palate, ample acidity and light structure.
