Clos du Roy is located in Chenôve, the northernmost lieu-dit in the Marsannay appellation. The vineyard sits at 270 meters in elevation. The slope is moderate and faces slightly southeast.

Gravel over limestone and sandy marl. Hand-harvested. Light extraction to focus on the fruit and terroir. Elèvage in barrel.
