Named after a pesky local bird and the sound of chirping chit-chat with friends, this red blended from local Tuscan varieties is full of bright, ripe cherries and finishes with a rustic earthiness that rounds out the flavors. It goes especially well with the classic Italian tomato-based dishes, and also with spicy foods.
This Chianti is made from the traditional Chianti varieties, blending both red and white. It is “fresh and easy drinking,” meant for any time. Pairing it with tomato-based dishes allows it to shine even more. This one is aged completely in concrete, and in bottle if you choose to sit on it longer!
Harvested by hand. Certified organic. Il Garrulo is a common bird in the vineyard, the Italian name for a Eurasian Jay.
