It is a brand new type of plum sake made from sake and plum without adding additives, such as sugar. We made a special Junmai sake for sugar additive free, using Nanbu Bijin’s special technology of all-malt-brewed Koji to get a flavor, with drinkable and fine tastes We are sure plum sake’s fine and tender taste with rich flavor will pair well with any meal.
Nanbu Bijin is the only brewery (patented production method) that makes this no-sugar-added umeshu. Unlike traditionally enjoyed umeshu, which uses white liquor, sugar, and ume, Nanbu Bijin's umeshu is made from their Junmai type "all koji" sake and locally grown ume. It is low in calories and has a clean, refreshing flavor and natural pink color. It is recommended to enjoy straight or on-the-rocks, and it's great for pairing with foods as well.
